Lay Workers Networking Day

After the successful Lay Workers Networking Day in Pontefract in October, we’re looking to organise another day on Tuesday February 11th at Christ Church Stocksbridge (address above).

The day will start at 10am for Tea’s, Coffee’s and conversations, followed by Introductions and Worship together at 10.30am. Rachel McCallam from the Learning Network will be providing training input, before breaking for lunch at 12pm with a Buffet Lunch (thanks to the Learning Network for providing it). After lunch, they’ll be opportunity for people from the same or similar Ministry areas to meet together in Communities of Practice to share their highs and lows; to bounce ideas off each other, and to help provide a support structure in what can be quite a lonely job at times.

The day will close at 2pm, although drinks will be available until 2.30pm for those who want to continue chatting.
